The Weekend: Nemo Edition

Unless you've been avoiding all forms of news and social media over the past few days, you know that a blizzard hit us pretty hard up here in the Northeast. Justin was out in California for work, so I was left to entertain my snowed-in self for a few days. Now, what's a girl to do in this situation? Well, she paints her nails, watches the whole first season of Revenge (SO GOOD), and shovels out her fiancĂ©'s car (fiancĂ©e of the year awards welcome).

...and if you're me, you venture out into the blizzard and take pictures! You all should expect nothing less from me :)

Those are buried cars!

So, there's Nemo in all its (his? her?) glory! How was your weekend? Was it snow-filled like mine or was Mother Nature more kind to you?

I'm linking up with these gals for the Weekend Update!

Just found your blog! SO happy I did! My husband and I visited Boston two weeks ago...thank goodness this didn't happen while we were there. Texans can't handle the snow!!

I don't know how you do it! I'm very happy with our mild winter down here in Austin. Just looking at these pictures make me cold!

Since I wasn't in Nemo, I can ignorantly say that it looked so beautiful! At least your pictures do. Now if I were there I would have froze to death. I want to move to Boston so bad but every time I think about it, I think of these storms lol.

Thanks for linking up!

Oh my gosh! That snow is ridiculous. You definitely deserve an award for shoveling out your fiances car. I wouldn't even go outside in that!

Oh Morgan, I know it was crazy up there, but your pictures are just gorgeous! I hope you found plenty of fun things to keep you busy when you were inside! I shouldn't even tell you it was in the 70's here in Texas this weekend should I? :)

Your photos are so gorgeous!! I was cooped up at my boyfriend's all weekend and was KICKING myself for not having brought my camera with me, so Instagram had to do for snowy pictures!

My goodness these are incredible! Great photos! When we had a blizzard in Chicago a few years back, my boyfriend and I watched from our apartment that overlooks Lakeshore Drive and Lake Michigan and it was NUTS. Such a cool experience, but all together a little frightening. Mother nature is so powerful!
