Friday's Fancies: Football Frenzy

I love football season, but unfortunately my alma mater is not known for their football team.  Basketball? Absolutely. Football? Absolutely not.  What the games lack in excitement and happiness, though, the tailgates definitely make up for.  If you've ever experienced an Indiana University tailgate, you know what I'm talking about.

Big Ten tailgates usually get a little too rowdy for a lady to wear a cute little dress and heels, SEC style.  We prefer fitted tees, sweatshirts, and a pair of jeans. It's the Midwest. I'm just being honest.  That being said, if I were to go back for a tailgate football game, I might class it up a little bit in my old alumni age and wear something like this...

It's not quite a dress and heels, but it's a step up from my fitted tee and jeans, no? I think this outfit is a good balance between fashionable, comfortable, and practical for tailgating. And I need that TB bag. Andrea posted about it yesterday, and it's been on my mind ever since. Who else is in love with it now?

Make your way over to {long distance loving} for a frenzy of football attire ;)

Have a fantastic weekend!!

I LOVE LOVE this outfit. The sweater looks so comfy cozy! My college isn't known for their football team either. Actually they are - but because they suck. lol Happy Friday!

I've worn dresses a few times this season for tailgates but they get to be so impractical and annoying after a while. I love the chunky sweater!

I'm not even sure if SDSU has a football team. I love the mixing of chambray, black and brown. And that bracelet!

I tailgate in the SEC and love dressing up in a dress and heels, but once the weather turns cooler, it is nice to consider a pair of skinny jeans and sweater - this outfit is swoon worthy, tailgating or otherwise!
