Loafer Lovin'

As the end of my spending freeze approaches, more and more items seem to be popping up on my wishlist. Funny how that works, eh?

I will do my best to practice restraint while spending when September's arrival graces me. One purchase I know I will be making, though, is a pair of loafers.  In being a tall girl, I pretty much only wear flats.  So when the shoe gods send something stylish down in the form of flats, you better believe I'm all over it.

What's even better? Gap is making this a wallet-friendly purchase this year. I'll take one of each please.

All of these are under $50. This makes me smile. Another thing that makes me smile? The fact that even after casual summer has ceased, these pretty little guys are still work appropriate. They would look darling with a pair of cropped pants (think the J. Crew Minnie) or a cute skirt. And then come the weekend, they'll still match up well with a pair of skinny jeans, a cozy sweater, and a pumpkin spice latte. So, is anyone else ready to board the loafer train?

I'm SO aboard the loafer train! I've been eyeing these up as well - and I love the idea of how they can be transitional (and the pumpkin spice latte). Ahh, I can't wait for fall!!! And whenever my spending freeze is over.

I saw those patterned ones from Gap when I was in there the other day and I had a really hard time saying NO to them! The texture on them is great too!

Loving the loafer trend too! I made a Pinterest board so I could keep track of all the cute ones! Sadly, I tried the polka dot pair, but they were too wide for my feet. Can't wait to see which ones you pick!

I have been eyeing these loafers too - they are perfection. Just as you described. I just started a month-long spending freeze today so I'll have to wait a while before I can add these to my closet. Thanks to your post back in July for the freeze inspiration!

Love these! I've been on the fence about whether or not to take the plunge, but now i'm leaning towards yes. :) Doing so much walking around the city, it's hard to wear anything other than flats.

Confession: I caved on my freeze and bought the polka dot calf hair pair this past weekend during Gap's 30% off sale...so I got them for $35. EEK.

I am actually wearing a very loafer-esque pair of Tory driving mocs today with my khaki J.Crew Minnies :)

Not sure how I have ZERO pairs of loafers. I guess it's just been too hot...and we wear sandals at work so I pretty much live in my Rainbows. This must happen in fall though. I LOVE the second pair!

I LOVE loafers too! Definitely my favorite shoe trend in a while! I have a couple pairs (one of which I have actually worn holes in, haha). Try Urban Outfitters, they always have a lot in this style and they're affordable!
