The Weekend.

So, I usually don't do this, but I lied to you guys on Friday. I told you I had zero beach time planned for this weekend, and then I spent all day Saturday at the beach. I apologize for being a liar, but it was unintentional. To make it up to you, I'm going to share my pictures with you. That merits forgiveness, right?

Saturday:
We drove up to Singing Beach. It's a small beach, but beautiful with rocky landscaping on either side.
...the other side of the beach.
Mister boyfriend.
Yours truly, slowly, but surely approaching lobster status. And yes, of course I wore sunscreen. I'm just that pale.
Spending all day at the beach makes you feel like you're on vacay. So after coming back to the city we enjoyed a rooftop dinner at The Rattlesnake complete with frozen strawberry margaritas. And that cheesy looking dip... It's called tequila cream cheese and it.is.AMAZING.
Sunday:
Sunday morning we headed to the SoWa market. These were vases and glasses made out of medicine bottles and old liquor bottles.
more marketing...
and then we headed inside to check out a building full of artists' studios. The left picture is the sink in the hallway where many artists obviously wash their painting supplies. The right is a hallway in the building. Obvi.
And that about wraps it up. Unless you want to see pictures of my grocery shopping excursion and the nap I took Sunday afternoon. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you don't.

I'm linking up with Join the Gossip, Sami's Shenanigans, and five30three for the Weekend Update. Hop on over to get the scoop on everyone else's weekends too!

I hope you all had fabulous weekends! Have a happy Monday :)

I officially went from being translucent in color to being a complete lobster after I went to the water park this past weekend. I feel your pain!

Such a fun weekend! I wanted to hit up the SoWa market this weeekend too (never been - how was it?) but I had to do brunch with the fam instead.
