I clipped this out of Self magazine at the end of 2010 and made it my New Year's resolution to "live boldly" for 2011. Seeing as though I quit my job and moved 1,000 miles away in October of 2011, I think it's safe to say I fulfilled my resolution. Even though I did fulfill it, I still keep this little piece of paper hanging on the refrigerator as a reminder to continue to live boldly everyday. Is it scary sometimes to take risks, both big and small, without knowing the outcome? Absolutely. But life is about living. And personally, I'd rather look back and say "oh well" than "what if?".
Living boldly doesn't mean you need to up and move far far away or make some sort of massive change in your life. As the quote says, "...imagine the person you want to be and the life you want to live, then simply commit to them. Believe in yourself. Embrace your beauty. Discover a new passion."
It's as simple as that. That girl you've always dreamed of being? It's never too late to be her. Just do it.
