Summer Staple: The LWD

Let's get one thing out of the way: defining "LWD". I think we all know what an LBD is. (Little black dress, if you don't .) And I think we can all agree that it's an essential piece in any woman's wardrobe.

This summer, there's a new sheriff in town, and she will be known as LWD: the Little White Dress.

I don't wear too much white during the winter months, because it serves as camouflage for my pasty skin. During the summer, though, white acts as a great contast for my *fakely* bronzed skin. I've been tirelessly searching for the perfect LWD addition to my wardrobe, and I think I've found "the one".

Dress

You can dress this little number up for a night out or you can dress it down and frolick around in it during the day. Allow me to explain further.

Jacket / Necklace / Sunnies / Sandals

Blazer / Necklace / Wedges

I would be much more likely to dress this down, but it's always nice to have the option of getting a little fancy with a piece. Which way would you wear it?

Also, let's coin the acronym LWD ;)

I love the eyelet detailing! It adds youth and whimsy to an otherwise very sexy/sultry dress. And both styling options look great!

LOVE the LWD. Hopefully I can get a little sun so I don't match the dress when I do decide to jump on this bandwagon... That's debatable at this point :) Hope you've had a great one, Morgan! Have loved keeping up with you!
