Friday's Fancies: Picnic Primped

It's time to kick off the weekend Friday's Fancies style! The weather here in the Northeast has definitely lent itself to picnic type activities this week, so it was certainly enjoyable to dream up a picnic primped outfit. For starters, here's where I'll be picnicking...

We should all have bikes like that to go picnicking in, yeah?

And here's what I'll be wearing....

Chambray Button-Up / Tank / Shorts / Necklace / Fedora / Bikini / Nail Polish

I wanted to keep this look light and breezy. A picnic should be a comfortable-attire affair, but we still want to stay fashionable, of course. I tried these lace shorts on at Madewell this week, and they fit like a glove. I need them stat. My picnic is a barefoot one, but my toes will be painted a lovely shade of tangerine. I also plan on going for a swim in the nearby lake after the picnic, so I'll be prepared with a checkered bikini under my lace shorts and tank.
